The Pensioners’ Union in Abuja has petitioned the Federal government, calling for the payment of pension arrears to its members to the tune of more than N25b. They want President Muhamamdu Buhari to intervene since all promises made by the Finance Minister and the Presidential Inter Agency Committee set up to redress the situation failed.
Executive Secretary of the Electricity sector in the Union, Alex Abu, led other members on a “Save Our Soul” visit to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
