Gunmen Suspected to be Bandits have again abducted Unspecified number of Travellers along Jangeme – Magami – Dansadau road in Zamfara
The affected highway is under the troubled Maru Local Government area of the state
The armed men were said to have been shuttling the road abducting Persons especially Travellers at different points on Tuesday
Sources told TVC News that the Gunmen operate on the highway from morning to about four o’clock in the evening without any security assistance.
Empty Vehicles according to our source were left on the highway with Luggages belonging to the abducted Persons
Dansadau – Magami road is one of the most dangerous highways in Zamfara
Communities in Maru Local Government have been experiencing bandits attack for years, leaving many dead, thousands displaced and others turned widows and orphans
Police authorities in Zamfara is yet to comment on the incident.
