President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Professor Nelson Braimbraifa as acting Managing Director for the Niger Delta Development Commission.
The President, following a Federal Executive Council resolution, placed the supervisory role of the commission in the Honourable Minister of Niger Delta Affairs and approved the dissolution of the extant board.
Also appointed as Acting Executive Director, Finance and Administration of the NDDC, is Chris Amadi and Samuel Adjogbe as Acting Executive Director (Projects).
The appointments take immediate effect.
