The national leadership of the Social Democratic Party is trying to paper over the cracks following the appeal court’s judgement affirming Donald Duke as the authentic flag bearer of the party. The National chairman of the party has already reached out to the to presidential hopefuls slugging it out in court to sheath their swords and focus on winning votes for the party at next month’s general election.
The Party has been deeply divided all through the legal battle to affirm an authentic presidential candidate for the party and the leadership of the party is saying no member of the party will be victimised or sanctioned while the controversy lasted.
