The House of Representatives has urged the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing to dismantle unauthorized speed bumps erected on highways nation-wide.
The House also charged the Ministry to construct pedestrian bridges on dangerous spots to avoid vehicles knocking down pedestrians on the highways.
The resolutions followed the passage of a motion by Abdulrazak Namdas, who expressed concern that a number of communities along highways had on their own constructed the speed breakers to check over speeding, reckless and dangerous driving.
