The House of Representatives has charged the Inspector General of Police and the Lagos State Police Command to deploy all resources at their disposal to ensure the prompt and safe release of two principals and some students kidnapped in Lagos on Thursday.
The resolution was predicated on a matter of urgent national importance raised by Representative Wale Raji from Lagos state.
Raji brought before his colleagues the news of the abduction of some students and their Principals at the Government Model College, Igbo-nla, Epe, Lagos state.
He disclosed that some students and the principal of the señior secondary school, Mr Akinrinmade as well as his counterpart in the Junior secondary school,Mr Oyeshola were kidnapped.
The House unanimously resolved that the police immediately swing into action and ensure their release.
