The arraignment of four men caught dealing in adulterated engine oil failed to hold at the Federal High Court Ikoyi on Thursday as scheduled.
Johnson Uche, Olaide Shittu, Kingsley Meteke and Abdulquadri Olayinka are being charged on four counts of offences punishable under the Standards Organisation of Nigeria Act and the Miscellaneous Offences Act.
They were said to have stored the products in 128 drums and several litres.
The prosecution, Joseph Olofindare, from the Federal Ministry of Justice was present. But the defendants counsel was absent.
The judge adjourned hearing to March the 1st, and ordered that the defence counsel must be informed in writing and acknowledge the service of the new date.
The accused are to remanded in prison custody until their next appearance in court.
