Members of the Alliance for Democracy in Ondo state say it has adopted Chief Olusola Oke as the party’s standard bearer in the forthcoming governorship poll.
The party also disowned a group known as Alliance for Democracy Youth vanguard, saying members of the group are not members of the AD.
Addressing a news conference in Akure, the State Chairman and Secretary of the party, Seriki Adebobola and Sola Agboola said that Oke has been chosen as a replacement of the former flag bearer of the party.
According to them, the former governorship candidate withdrew from the race before the party adopted Oke

They accused some politicians of using the group to destabilise the party because its rising profile of the party.
