Rwanda and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa have signed a concessional loan agreement worth 20 million Dollars to finance rural electrification project in the country.
The project will focus on supply and construction of distribution networks, metering and service cables to connect houses, commercial centers in Nyaruguru and Nyamagabe Districts.
The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, says the project supports the national electrification strategy which is among the driving factors of economic transformation in Rwanda.
The Project is expected to connect 13,324 households and 12,414 households.
