Taraba State Government has lifted the 7-day curfew imposed on Jalingo, the State capital with immediate effect.
This directive is contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor Hasan Mijimyawa.
The Governor directed all security agencies to intensify surveillance and patrol especially in the flash point areas of the state capital.

He thanked the people of the state for their understanding and cooperation with the security agents while the curfew lasted.
