A Coalition of Accredited Election Observers has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the governorship election in Kano state.
The incumbent, Abdullahi Ganduje, was declared winner after the supplementary exercise that took place on Saturday.
According to the Observers, the process improved significantly during the Election re-run.
The Coalition said Kano was relatively peaceful despite reports of Violence in some areas where the election re-run held. They commended efforts of security agencies and other stakeholders who toiled to ensure a smooth election was conducted.

The Accredited Observers urged winners and losers to call upon their supporters for calm and respect the rule of law.
