Governor Seriake Dickson has signed an appropriation bill of N299billion (Two-Hundred-and-Ninety-Nine Billion-Naira) into law as the Bayelsa State budget for the 2019 fiscal year.
The Bayelsa Governor also assured the people of the state of the completion of most projects begun by his administration.
The governor had on on 20th December 2018 presented an appropriation estimate of N275billion (Two Hundred and Seventy Five Billion naira) to the Bayelsa House of Assembly.
Three months after the fiscal document returns to Government House for the Bayelsa Governor’s assent.
Signing the Bill into law, Governor Dickson promises the completion of most capital projects in infrastructure development including roads in the various sectors of the state.
Governor Dickson also gave assent to the Administration Of Criminal Justice Bill 2019.
