Collation of results for elections in Rivers state has resumed this morning after the process was adjourned by the Independent National electoral commission by 6 PM on Tuesday.
The commission says it would announce collated results from six more local government areas today after it announced results from fifteen local government areas on Tuesday.
Earlier, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP was declared winner of the Rivers West and Rivers East Senatorial District as well as the Degema/Bonny Federal Constituency.

To maintain security, the axis of the Port Harcourt-Aba Expressway around the INEC office has been cordoned off while Police say access into the collation center will remain restricted.
