The Nigeria Police have confirmed the killing of 21 (twenty one) people in Kajuru local government area of Kaduna state by suspected armed bandits.
The Kaduna Command of the force says attackers started shooting sporadically at villagers on Monday and in the process killed twenty one people, injured three others and destroyed houses.
The bandits according to the Police also rustled about fifty cows.
Authorities at the command said efforts are underway to apprehend the fleeing criminals, adding that there has been reinforcement of more Police operatives to the area for intensive combing and patrol.

This according to them is with a view to forestall further breakdown of Law and order in the area.
