Nigeria national team manager, Gernot Rohr believes that host-country Egypt are favourites to win the upcoming African Cup of Nations.
On Friday night the draw for the 2019 AFCON took place in Cairo and revealed all of the 24 participant countries fates.
Nigeria were drawn in a significantly weak group alongside Guinea as well as Madagascar and Burundi, who will be participating in the tournament for the first time in their history.
However, Nigeria boss Gernot Rohr believes that his group is quite difficult and admitted that Egypt are favourites to lift the trophy.

The 2019 AFCON is set to take place between June 21 and July 19 in Egypt. The Super Eagles’ opening game will be against Burundi on June 22 in the Alexandria stadium.
