Firefighters have extinguished the fire that gutted the Notre Dame cathedral. According to local media, the fire caused the cathedral’s spire to collapse but the main structure is not totally damaged.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
But Spokesperson for the cathedral said the fire broke out in the attic of the 850 year old historical monument.
Meanwhile Two of France’s wealthiest men have pledged a total of 300 million euros to help rebuild the iconic church.

French President Emmanuel Macron said France would launch a campaign to rebuild the cathedral which is a historical site that belongs to not just Paris but to entire France.
