The Constituency Office of the Ogun State assembly’s deputy Speaker, Taiwo Oluomo has been razed by some hoodlums.
In a statement released by the lawmaker, the incident happened immediately after the celebration of Akoogun festival in Ifo in which one of the boys believed to be opposed to APC during the last election was reported to have invited many political thugs and unionists that were involved in the attacks.
Three forty-two (342) seater buses, 1 Luxury bus and another thirty six (36) seater bus, used for free school shuttle are part of the property destroyed.
Meanwhile, Ogun state Commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama said the Police is still investigating what led to the situation where and how some political thugs razed the constituency office of the Deputy Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly and burnt buses in its premises.
The Police boss who was speaking while on a visit to the Olu of Ifo Land, Oba Samuel Atanda said the command will ensure that those behind the attack are brought to book.
