Stakeholders have identified funding as one of the major challenges militating against the fight to eliminate malaria particularly in Sokoto state.
Nigeria is one of the five countries that accounted for nearly half of all malaria cases recorded in the world in twenty seventeen with twenty five percent of the global malaria cases recorded in Nigeria.
