Nigeria Professional Football League club, Akwa United have sacked Technical adviser Maurice Cooreman.
Four-time Nigerian Champions Kano Pillars have also dissolved their board.
Akwa United finished just four points above the relegation zone in the out gone season and the club’s management say the disengagement is as a result of a major restructuring to reposition the Uyo-based outfit.
Head coach Ere Dokubo was also relieved of his duties.
Kano state governor Abdullahi Ganduje confirmed that the club’s board was sacked because of infighting amongst its members.
Kano pillars finished 7th last season.
