The Majority leader of Nigeria’s House of Representatives and leading contender for the Ninth National Assembly Speaker’s seat, Femi Gbajabiamila, says he now has the figure to clinch the exalted office.

Mr. Jibrin said the House leader was reaching out to the current Speaker, Mr Yakubu Dogara; former Speakers, opposition members and other speakership aspirants.
