Civil Society Organizations have hit the streets of Abuja to protest against alleged corruption and looting of funds by corrupt government officials in the country.
The protest focus on drawing attention to the brazen stealing of funds by politicians and government officials especially the Malabu oil scandal, with which government officials and oil giants looted billions of naira of public funds.
Sina Odugbemi of Civil Society Network Against Corruption stated that the protest is also used to enlighten Nigerians about the OPL245 and create engagement among Nigerians to hold public officials accountable at all times.
