Pensioners in the Civil Service Union have appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to include its representative on the Minimum wage implementation committee.
The Pension Union staged a peaceful protest to the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation on Monday.
Armed with a letter titled Passionate Appeal to Mr. President on the plight of Pensioners, the senior citizens express the fears that they may be excluded from benefiting from the recently reviewed minimum wage.
Workers of the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday staged a peaceful protest to kick against possible return of their suspended boss, Mounir Gwarzo.
The workers want the implementation of the report of the administrative panel into allegations against Mr. Gwarzo.
