Voting is ongoing to elect the deputy President of the Senate after the emergence of Ahmed Lawan as the President of the Senate of the 9th National Assembly.
Senators-elect, Ovie Omo-Agege and Ike Ekweremadu have been nominated for the position and they have both accepted their nominations.
