An appeal has gone to the federal government to empower the youth in order to reduce the level of crime in the country. Leaders of an advocacy group, known as Asorodayo Youth Heritage Organisation, disclosed this in Abeokuta while campaigning against kidnapping, banditry and all forms of crime.

Unemployment is high and this appears to be contributing to the increase in the rate Insecurity.
Worried by the high level of kidnapping, banditry, and Insurgency in the country, a group has called on the federal government to empower the idle
hands in the country.
They also appealed to Nigerian youths to assist the government in fighting crimes in the country.
The group believes that with quality education, employment opportunities, standard security arrangement and good managent of resources, Nigeria will regain its lost glory.
