Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who is currently in New York on a four day visit, yesterday held a town hall meeting with the Nigerian community.
In his opening remarks he said : “I can assure you that the challenges before Nigeria are surmountable & are going to be surmounted.”
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo also attended a church service at the RCCG Regional Parish in New York, United States, where he gave a sermon and also prayed fervently for Nigeria.
The vice president is scheduled to meet with his U.S. counterpart, Mike Pence, in Washington on Wednesday, according to presidential spokesman, Mr Laolu Akande.
Ahead of his meeting with Pence, Osinbajo would be the guest speaker at a forum tagged “A Conversation With Vice President Yemi Osinbajo: Nigeria’s Economic Prospects”
