Soldiers of the Guards Brigade, an elite force of the Nigerian Army responsible for the President’s security, have concluded a training course in Abuja.
The soldiers of the rank of Corporal and below had their skills sharpened in Weapons Handling, Physical Combat, Map Reading and Obstacle Crossing.
Their ability to handle weapons, engage in physical combat, read maps and
cross obstacles is put to test.
It’s a defining moment for the solders as their career progression is hinged on their performance.
For many Nigerians, the outcome of the training will be determined by its impact on security in the country.
