TVC N. Continental Broadcasting Services ( CBS ), yesterday organised a free health screening exercise for her staff. The need for employers to regularly organise health talks and medical screenings for employees has been emphasized.
The Lagos chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association, and the Occupational Health and Safety Managers, conducted the screening and health talk, to commemorate this year’s Physicians Health Week.
The Head of Occupational Health and Safety Managers, Ehi Iden enlightened participants on the dangers and prevention of Hepatitis B, diabetes and high blood pressure.
The chairman of Nigerian Medical Association in Lagos, Dr. Omojowolo Olubunmi was also around.
