The National Broadcasting Commission is set to launch it’s 6th edition of the Nigeria Broadcasting Code on 4th of July 2019.
The Director General of the Commission, Is’haq Modibbo Kawu, disclosed this in a briefing in Abuja.
The new broadcasting code seeks to strengthen laws that relate to the use of hate speech and also promote the country’s local content.
The NBC Boss also announced the withdrawal of the suspension notice issued to DAAR Communications PLC urging them to abide by the terms of settlement as ordered by the court.
