It has been confirmed. Nigeria’s next opponent in the round of 16 of the Nations cup will be defending champions – Cameroon.
Cameroon finished second in Group F and will meet the second team in Group B which is the Super eagles.
The match will hold on Saturday, July 6 at the Alexandria stadium.
Both countries have played against each other 22 times since their first meeting in 1960.
Nigeria have won 11 times, drawn 7 times and lost four times to Cameroon.
The Super Eagles have beaten Cameroon four times in their last five meetings, including a four -nil win in Uyo during the World cup qualifiers.
