The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mr. Mele Kyari has promised that his administration will give priority to oil exploration in the north and places that are yet to be harnessed in the country.
He stated this after he was officially introduced to President Muhammadu Buhari by the former Group Managing Director of NNPC Maikanti Baru at the State House, Abuja.
The new NNPC Chief who took over from Maikanti Baru on Monday, seeks a stronger partnership with the economic and financial crimes commission and other government agencies to help curb activities of economic sabotage.
Mr Baru on his part says the task for his successor is to immediately stabilize the supply of fuel to the economy and also begin exporting products to neighboring countries.
