“No one has the right to ask anyone, group to depart from any part of the country”-Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has asked Fulani herders across the country to disregard the order given by the Northern Elders Forum asking them to leave the southern part of the country.

The president’s displeasure with the action of northern elders forum was contained in a statement signed by senior special assistant media and publicity Garba Shehu.

The president says all citizens of Nigeria are free to move and live within any part of the country they please, whether or not they are originally from there.

Also President Buhari says no one has the right to ask anyone or group to depart from any part of the country, whether north, south, east or west.
