Members of the West African College of Physicians, Nigeria, have called for overhauling of the country’s healthcare administration in order to reduce some of the challenges confronting the sector in the country.
They made this known at the end of their 43rd annual general meeting, held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

On his part, the Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta, Adewale Musa-Olomu also called for more professional training and
practice in order to meet up the required standard.
The host Governor, Dapo Abiodun assured them that his administration will invest heavily in the health sector but called for supports from the
private sector.
