In DRC, there are currently 2,498 confirmed cases, 94 probable cases, 1,743 deaths
Uganda recorded it’s first case in a 5 year old boy on the 25th of June despite its heavy investment and preparation against Ebola spread
This is what necessitated the decisive action by the African Union .
The WHO has also suggested that political cooperation and community ownership will go a long way in the fight against Ebola spread
