Fifty percent discount was given to 79,200 farmers in the state.

It benefits range from provision of raw materials to industries for production, provision of employment opportunities to citizens of the country, boosting Internally Generated Revenue and a host of others.
Now the Nasarawa state government is striving to harness these potentials of agriculture by encouraging more residents in the state to focus on agricultural production.
To this end it has made available 79,200 fertilisers to farmers in the state at subsidised rates.
Farmers in the state see the gesture as a catalyst to achieving food security in the state and creating more employment opportunities for its inhabitants.
