Leaders in the ruling All Progressives Congress Party (APC) have admitted that it is presently embroiled in internal party crisis.
The development has created deep cracks in the ruling party’s ranks across the country, and is raising concerns that something needs to be urgently done.
The National Working Committee had met with the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum over concerns about a seeming cold war within the party, which has affected the workings of virtually all its organs.
Top amongst issues discussed is the need to restructure the party at all levels, the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum Rochas Okorocha disclosed to waiting Journalists, that President Muhammadu Buhari will address the party leadership soon.
The meeting also touched on issues around the upcoming Ondo election, and the leadership pledges to bring all stakeholders together to win the state.
The party is poised to ensure that stability returns at all levels and to all states it controls.
