Kaduna high Court has granted the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky leave to go to India for medical treatment.
According to the ruling, El-Zakzaky is to travel with state officials and expected back in the country immediately he is certified medically fit.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna State Directorate of Public Prosecution said the ruling will be looked into.
Police had early tightened security in the Kaduna metropolis ahead of the hearing of the bail application of the IMN leader and his wife, Zeenat.
