The 18 elected Chapel executives of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Kaduna State Branch, have been inaugurated.
Leaders and union members from all over the state attended the event which was held at the Arewa House in Kaduna on Wednesday.
In his address, Ambassador Muhammed Abubakar Bishara, chairman of the operational committee, praised the inauguration of the 18 chapel executives of the organization’s Kaduna state branch.

The event was described as “remarkable in the sense that what is happening now has never happened in so many years, which actually indicates the level of achievements recorded in such a short period of time” under the current leadership of its Executive National president, Alb. Dr. Musa Mohammed Maitakobi.
He noted that since it is the cardinal focus of the current leadership to ensure optimal functionality of state across the country, Kaduna State wouldn’t have been an exception.
“in experiencing its share of development that will further enhance the economic growth of of the state as well as to put sanity, discipline and rule of law in the administration of the chapels.” he added
He charged the elected chapels executives in the respective chapels to ensure high level of discipline, commitment and dedication,
” working in line with the provisions of the Association’s constitution and maintaining orderliness, peace and decorum in the course of their operations” for sustainable growth and development to be achieved.
He urged the newly elected executives to “remain steadfast and forgive each other in any situation of friction and show understanding whenever there is any difference as members of the Association with one purpose to achieve goals.”
The Chairman thanked Governor Nasir El-rufai for his “commitment to serving the state with courage, selfless service, dedicated commitment, and loyalty to the good people of Kaduna state, which created an environment conducive to our operation,” he said.
He also requested that the state Governor grant the association a plot of land on which to build their permanent sacretariat in the state, among other things.
