A 40-man committee has been inaugurated by the Oyo State Coordinator for the Tinubu/Shettima Oyo Women Campaign Team under the leadership of Dr. Florence Ajimobi to support Bola Tinubu’s campaign for president of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Wife of a former Governor in Oyo state, called on women, youth and stakeholders in the state’s chapter of the APC to shun their differences in order to work for the victory of the party in 2023.

She gave the advice during the inauguration of the Tinubu/Shettima Oyo women campaign team held in Ibadan.
The event was witnessed by the APC Chairman in the state and other chieftains of the party.
Ajimobi assured the party members that the committee inaugurated would form sub-committees where many more people, especially at the grassroots, would be involved in ensuring political victory for Tinubu/Shettima in the election.
Speaking, the APC Chairman, Isaac Omodewu, who described Dr. Ajimobi as his mother, said the party would do all within its power to ensure victory for all its candidates at the coming election.
He seized the opportunity of the event to appeal to the wife of the late governor to provide the leadership required to ensure victory for the party across the board in the 2023 elections, from the presidency to the state assembly, saying Dr. Ajimobi remained the mother of the party.

While speaking at the event, the wife of former Governor Abiola Ajimobi called for unity among party members in the state.
The campaign team’s office was also declared opened at Old APC office in ibadan.
The newly inaugurated members of the campaign team promised to discharge their duties diligently and ensure adequate grassroots mobilization across the 33 local governments in the state.
