The governorship candidate of the Alliance for Democracy (AD), Olusola Oke has promised to bring rapid development to Akure speaking communities if elected as the governor of the state.
Oke made the promise when his campaign train visited Oda community in Akure, South Local Government area of the state.
He added that it was unfortunate that the state has not grown beyond its reliance on monthly allocations from the Federal Government.
He promised to redirect the development of the state’s resources, especially its abundant natural and human resources.
The candidate explained that he had developed a database of the resources, which he would utilise to transform the economy.
