The National Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abeokuta upheld the election of Senator Tolu Odebiyi of the All Progressives Congress, as the duelly elected Senator representing Ogun West.
His victory was challenged by the Peoples Democratic Party Candidate, Leye Odunjo based on allegation of gross misconduct and irregularities during the election.
While delivering the Judgement, the Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Wakkil Al-Kali said the petitioner was not able to provide substantial evidence to support the weigthy allegations.
