The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences, ICPC, has sealed the Abuja home of the 2nd vice-president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Shehu Dikko, over fresh corruption charges.
Mr Shehu Dikko’s residence was shut by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission following a forfeiture order by a federal high court.
ICPC spokesperson Rasheedat Okoduwa, said the investigation is to uncover financial malpractices in the football association, allegedly involving Mr Dikko and other executives.
The NFF is also being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Special Presidential Investigation Panel on recovery of Public Property.
The executives of the federation have been accused of diverting funds meant for the association.
