Students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, are calling for action over the incessant robbery attacks around the campus.
The school authorities say they are working with the Nigerian Police and vigilante groups in the community to end the robbery attacks.
Majority of students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko in Ondo State, reside off campus.
This is because the available hostels on campus cannot accommodate all the students.
Recent happenings off the campus of the institution is giving many students serious concern.
Robbery attacks on some of students who are living off campus, is increasing everyday.
This prompted the institution’s Students’ Union Government, SUG, to raise alarm.
They want relevant security agencies to come to their rescue.
However, the management of the university says it has taken some bold steps to put a stop to the incessant attacks.
The Public Relations Officer of the institution, Victor Akinpelumi added that the management has put a Joint Patrol team in place to check the menace.
