The Theatre Commander Of Operation Lafia Dole, Major General Olusegun Adeniyi has charged troops to crush Boko Haram and put a permanent end to the criminal franchise which majorly benefits sympathisers and sponsors of the terrorists.
The theatre commander made the charge at the Command Headquarters sector 2 of the operation Lafia Dole in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe state.
Michael Oshomah reports that the visit of the commander was a gesture to boost the morale of troops of Sector 2 operation Lafia Dole, Damaturu.
The theatre commander believes the Boko Haram insurgency can be permanently brought to an end in Nigeria. He said the insurgency has lasted this long in the north east because it is a criminal franchise orchestrated by sponsors and beneficiaries.
He assured the troops they will benefit immensely if the elimination of the terrorist group is achieved.
