Kaduna State Government has commenced the implementation of the new national minimum wage of N30,000 for workers in the state.
This followed the approval by the State Executive Council sometimes in August.
TVC News Correspondent, Tesem Akende reports that employees of the state government are in high spirits as they have begun receiving salary alerts for the month of September.
It has captured the thirty thousand naira minimum wage, making the state the first to begin implementation in the country.
Officials of the state government have confirmed the development.
They said the move is in fulfillment of a promise made last month by the Nasir El-Rufa’i led government.
