Delta State Governor and PDP vice presidential candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa says his Government will continue to care for all Victims displaced by the ravaging flood in the State as he urged them not to lose hope.
The Governor also assured them of his plans to resettle them once the water recedes to enable restart their lives.
Governor Okowa gave them assurance at a party organised for the Internally Displaced Persons at eleven Camps in the State.
Governor Okowa had visited some camps a few days ago and promised to ensure the the general well being of the displaced persons is prioritised.

The government also organised a social gathering to lift the spirits of the affected residents and give them hope of better days ahead.
At Otagba-Ogbe camp in Ndokwa West Council, the more than 3000 displaced persons were in a cheerful mood, temporarily forgetting about their loses and living in the moment as they sang, danced and had a good time with the governor’s representative and other officials
The Ozoro IDP camp was also not left out of the excitement at seeing the governor and his officials.
The same electrifying atmosphere was also witnessed in Oleh camps as the people say, like a phoenix, they will rise from the ashes.
The governor stated that continuous visit was a therapeutic way of helping the displaced residents from flood hit communities ease stress.
