At least six persons have been kidnapped by heavily armed bandits in Gurim village, Fufure Loca Government Area of Adamawa state.
A local source says the bandits in their droves, invaded the community and abducted six young men.
According to him the victims were kidnapped some 4 kilometers along Fufore-Gurin road in the early hours of Saturday.
“They were grazing cattle when the kidnappers whisked them away and left the cattle wondering”, he said

The spokesperson for the command DSP, Suleiman Nguroje says the bandits free one out four kidnapped.
Gurin village is situated on the river bank separating Nigeria and Cameroon on the south-eastern axis of the state.
Adamawa state is experiencing resurging Kidnappings, and violent crimes; some of which are high profile ones.
Last week, a professor at Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH) Yola, was kidnapped and released after the payment of N2 million ransom, according a member of his family.
