Organisers of the Nigeria Professional Football League, the League Management Company, LMC have proposed November 3 as the new kick-off date for the 2019-2020 season.
The new date is supported by the conduct of the draw for the competition, held in Abuja.
The LMC confirmed the league will revert to its original format of the 20 club sides in a single league log.

The new season will run from November 2019 until May 2020 and each club will play in a double round-robin system. Each team will play against the other 19 contenders at home and away.
