Super Falcons coach Florence Omagbemi on Wednesday named her 21-man squad for the Cameroon 2016 African
Women’s Cup of Nations.
Arsenal Ladies forward Asisat Oshoala, Avant Guingamp’s Desire Oparanozie, Ebere Ngozi, Francisca Ordega, Faith Ikidi Michael, Rita Chikwelu, Onome Ebi and Osinachi Ohale top the list as Nigeria seek their eight win in the tournament, which begins on Saturday.
However, former Nigeria midfielder Omagbemi dropped captain Evelyn Nwabuoku from the final squad.
Nigeria, who are the defending champions of the competition, will play in Group B alongside Kenya, Mali and Ghana. The Falcons will play their first match against Mali on Sunday.
