The federal government has been advised to further equip the Nigerian army corps of engineers.
This was emphasized at the handing and taking over ceremony between incoming and outgoing Commander Corps of Engineers.
A representative of the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Chris Jemitola, praised the efforts of the engineers for being able to provide the technical assistance that has helped the army in its ongoing war against terrorism.
The outgoing commander corps of engineers, Major General Ernest Obi called for the provision of more modern equipments, and training of officers to help them enhance their productivity.
