The Lion that escaped from its enclosure at the Kano Zoological Garden has returned to its cage.
Managing Director of the Zoo, Usman Gwadabe said the Lion voluntarily returned to its cage and normal activities would resume.
The animal resisted two transquilisers on Sunday which made its sedation slow.

Our TVC News correspondent learnt the lion finally quietly returned to it cage at about 6:59am today after efforts to capture it failed.
Some zoological experts from the Abuja National Park arrived the zoo to complement efforts of the teams on the ground.
Management of the Zoological Garden also appealed to residents to remain calm as activities return to normal.
